SNORKELING AT MNEMBA ATOLL 

If you made a choice to Snorkeling on Zanzibar, Mnemba Atoll is obviously a must! It is the most famous Conservation area in Zanzibar. That is due to its crystal clear water, abundance of fish and colorful corals. Mnemba is also famous for encounters with Common Dolphins, Mnemba Dolphins They often swim right next to the our boat, and so allowing us to jump in the water to snorkel with them.On our way back from the Snorkeling, we slow down and pass close to the beautiful Mnemba Island, so you can take some great photos.

This fantastic coral wall dive starts at only 2 meters but drops to 30. This makes it an ideal diving spot for both beginners and experienced snorkelers. If you are not a diver, but you want to catch a glimpse from Zanzibar’s underwater treasures, I would recommend you going for a snorkeling trip to Mnemba Atoll. During these tours, you might have the chance to see dolphins, You might even to swim with them if they pass by your snorkeling area, Most of the time, we see them from the boat When going to Mnemba Atoll, there is around 70 – 80% of chances of seeing them.If the dolphins stay close to the boat, and our captains think they are playful, we give the chance to our customers to put the mask and fins on, and swim with the dolphins.On the boat we serve soft drinks and Fresh fruits, With low tide we can visit the beautiful sandbank next to Mnemba. The white sandy beach and clear blue water make your pictures look like the most perfect postcard.

HOW DOES A DOLPHINS TOUR WORKS? 

After meeting in the morning, tourists get into a small fiber boat. Snorkel equipment is usually provided by the operator. The tour lasts about 30 – 1 hour, where the boat captain sail around the bay, looking for pods of dolphins. Once the captain spots the pod, he will fast approaches them, and urge the tourists to jump into the water with them.

Gaze at the sandy, white beaches of Nungwi and Kendwa (rated top 10 in the world), surrounded by tropical trees, and dotted with resorts and local fishing villages.Your Parasailing Captain will provide safety and flying instructions to ensure you have a fantastic time in the safest way possible.

When it is your turn to parasail, you will be secured in a safety harness. You begin your flight seated on the back platform of the parasailing boat and your harness is attached to the parasail, which is already connected to the hydraulic winch system by a rope. As the boat accelerates, the flight instructor will slowly release the rope and the parasail will gently pull you up. You will feel the parasail boat sliding out from underneath and – WHOOSH – you are up in the air flying!

You are safely and securely attached to the rope allowing you to float in the air and enjoy the thrill of flying and the amazing panoramic views of the island. The flight lasts approximately 10 – 12 minutes. At the end of the flight, the hydraulic winch system will gently reel you back in until you land softly, like a feather, on the boat’s platform. The staff will unclip you from the parasail and now you can sit back and enjoy the relaxing boat ride.

Swimming with horses is an experience you will never forget; we do this bareback with natural halters. Swimming can be done by any level of rider including inexperienced. Swimming with horses can only be done at high tide.

TUMBATU ISLAND 

Tumbatu Island Snorkeling.A half-day experience that departs from Nuguwi, head to the outer lying reef where you can’t jump right in – exploring the shallow corals and looking out for distinctive species that include Turtles, leaf Fish, Octopuses, Scorpion Fish, Moray Eels, and Nudibranchs.Whilst access to the island is under strict rule by tribal elders, you will be able to take a tour by boat – traveling along the stunning shoreline before you head back to Zanzibar – returning to the port by 2 pm.What you will expect to see in Tumbatu island are Turtles, Leaf fish, Octopuses, Scorpionfish,Moray Eels, and Nudibranchs. Tumbatu Island is dive sites Zanzibar with the nicest coral gardens in North Zanzibar island. There are three dive sites such as Shetani, Popobawa & Mwana have beautiful in dramatic and eye-catching, developing rapidly and successfully corals reefs, with a large variety of soft and hard corals, The reef starts at 3 meters and drops down to 12 meters deep. This makes Tumbatu island a beautiful place for snorkeling as well as beginner divers.

The best way to experience the glorious Zanzibar sunset. On a traditional wooden dhow with the wind in your sail and a glass of wine in your hand as you cruise along watching the setting sun cast gold and amber hues on the North Zanzibar coast.

The sunset cruise leaves at 16:00 from our beach at Z hotel, and returns around 18:30, just after the sun has set . Crack open the ice box and dig in to the wonderful liquid and edible treats that it holds as the sun dips below the horizon and the boat leisurely sails back.
